ABOUT US
Reside Home is a full-service interior design firm and retail home furnishings showroom located in beautiful downtown Santa Fe, NM. Specializing in styles from traditional to transitional to contemporary, our work is rooted in a casual elegance. We indulge in color, pattern and texture balanced by scale, proportion and composition to create layered spaces as unique as those who share them.
Reside takes residence in a stately, one-hundred year old historic home located across from our state’s capitol. We feature top national and international upholstery brands, occasional pieces, rugs, lighting, art, accessories, bedding and gifts. Santa Fe is renown for its artistic community of makers, many of whom are proudly represented by Reside Home, including fine art painters, ceramicists, mixed media artists, textile designers, sculptors and lighting designers.
Owners Jeff Fenton & Chris Martinez founded Reside Home in 2013 after 20 highly successful years in the field of design. They have worked throughout the country creating dynamic and inspired, award-winning interiors for their discerning clients. Their designs have been featured in numerous national and local shelter magazines as well as on television and in movies. Their showroom, “Reside Home” was named a “2020 Retail Star” by “Home Accents Today” magazine which recognizes 50 highly distinguished showrooms across the country each year.
Sharing their knowledge and passion for design is an important tenant for Jeff and Chris and includes the creation of a design-based radio show; shooting a pilot for a design and lifestyle television show; serving as design assistant to renowned designer Genevive Gorder while on TLC’s “Trading Spaces;” mentoring under Emmy award-winning designer Christopher Lowell; the development of the “MAUD” lifestyle furnishings brand with Victoria Price, daughter of legendary actor Vincent Price; and serving as a former contributing Home & Garden editor for “Santa Fean” magazine.
Jeff and Chris’ earlier chapters include executive management with Bloomingdales and Gap Inc, teaching, graphic design and creative media consultation. As a married couple of 30 years, Jeff and Chris recently adopted their teenage son Josh and now more fully understand the unlikelihood of a perfectly chopped pillow, much less the stream of clothes and dishes that follow their son, nor would they have it any other way and feel extremely blessed to be a family.
Trish Spencer spent her earlier career as a successful buyer, shop owner, manager and community trend-setter. She is the embodiment of passion and heart, freely sharing her indomitable sense of personal style and warmth with her clients. Trish’s contagious energy blends seamlessly with her client’s vision to create thoughtfully executed, chic and elegant interiors, always with a distinct splash of personality and unexpected moments.
Cinema Jones, our tenacious Purchasing and Logistics Manager makes it all happen once the style decisions have been made. Cinema sees every order through from production to white glove delivery, ensuring the highest of standards and company expectations are met; all the while managing an infinite number of moving parts and challenges with a smile and an uncompromising dedication to our customers’ satisfaction.
